Highlights of Presentation and Discussion Items
The following items were presented to the Board:
Finance Report: As of December 31, 2017 the Board learned the system is at 50.05%  percent for the budget year. The Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax revenues for November 2017 were up 7.41 percent from 2016 collections and up 7.81 percent from last month. A financial statement, investment reports, and bond summaries were also shared, as well as a detailed capital projects analysis. 
Construction Update: Tom Wening, Director of Construction, presented the current Capital Program timeline showing the existing status for the renovations at various elementary, middle and high schools as well as updates on new construction.  Click here  for the presentation.

The following items were approved:

Election of New Board Officers/Representatives: Nancy Roche, board vice chair, made a motion for the following Board Officers/Representatives for the 2018 year -

Board Chair - Ann Crow
Vice Chair - Nancy Roche
Legislative Liaison - Kristin Morrissey
Attendance Committee - Darla Light
Drug Council - Tom Cleveland

The board approved with a unanimous vote. 

Bond Project List:  Jeff Bearden, Superintendent, recommended approval of the Bond Project List.  The board approved with a unanimous vote.  Click here for the presentation.
